Our Neighbor’s Kitchen Community Supper

Available every 2^nd, 4^th, and 5^th Thursday of each month Unitarian Universalist Church of Winchendon at 126 Central Street Winchendon, MA.  Indoor Dining is available from 5:30-6:00 pm in the Parish Hall.  Walk-in, Take-out meals are available at 5:45pm while supplies last. Free-will donations welcome: $2 per person, $5 per family

NEWS & NOURISHMENT

During the spring and summer, donations to area food pantries often dwindle. To help, The Keene Sentinel is working to raise money throughout the month of August for the Monadnock Food Pantries Collective, which the Rindge Food Pantry is a part of.

Along with the fundraising efforts, The Sentinel will publish articles related to food access and insecurity in the Monadnock Region. To donate, visit www.thecommunitykitchen.org.

Supported by The Monadnock United Way, the collective consists of The Community Kitchen in Keene, St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry in Keene, Helping Hand in Troy, Jaffrey United Church Food Pantry, Joan’s Pantry in Chesterfield, Rindge Food Pantry, Federated Church of Marlborough and the Marlborough Food Pantry’s Kidz Cupboard.

Monadnock Hunger Walk

This event is held on the first Saturday of May each year. Help your neighbors in southwestern New Hampshire by walking to raise monies for food pantries that serve folks in need of support.

Locations vary each year.
